Great location near the city center, a lovely walled garden, and the beach 🏖️. Plus, it's just a mile from Phare Quai Valin.

We were there for 4 days, everything was perfect, really enjoyed its comfortable and great location very close to the walled garden, around 10 minutes and a bus stop 50 m away if required. The staff was friendly and solved our problems immediately. It was a relaxing stay, wonderful old and quiet place.

My room had central heating, coffee and tea facilities, and a desk, which I found really convenient, plus the bed was super comfy and the bathtub was great.

The friendly staff gave us a free upgrade to a very clean room with a great shower.

The general areas, such as the courtyard garden and small pool, were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility with easy navigation and comfortable seating areas throughout. It made my stay even more enjoyable and convenient.

I would have liked to see the children working there be a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests. A little more assistance and support would have made the vacation even better for us.

I had a fantastic stay at Chambres D'Hotes Le Clos Bleu. the hostess was incredibly helpful and welcoming, providing us with maps of the area and giving us great recommendations for restaurants. the location of the accommodation was perfect, as it was within walking distance of the city center. the breakfast served was plentiful and delicious, and we even had the opportunity to use the swimming pool and enjoy the beautiful garden. the entire place was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend staying here for a great experience in La Rochelle. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 👌.
